Free WiFi was great, I could Instagram all my hostel adventures! They have bike and car hire, I guess it's good for sporty people, not me. Oh, and the dining area was so fancy, I felt like a queen!

Such a shame I couldn't lock my room, but hey, who needs privacy anyway? My personal fan made up for the lack of fresh air, but the mouse in the locker was a delightful surprise.

The cleanliness of the hostel was not up to my standards. The room was not very clean, and I encountered some unwelcome guests like ants and a mouse.

my second stay in anuradhapura, and kingfisher was even better this time. the host goes above and beyond, offering guidance and even a ride to the bus stop. the cozy guest house is perfect for relaxing after tours, with comfortable beds and a communal kitchen. highly recommended for backpackers.

I had a fantastic time at Kingfisher Hostel. During my stay, the owner was incredibly helpful and gave me great advice on visiting Mihintale, which turned out to be an amazing experience. Renting bikes from the hostel was also very convenient for exploring the town. The friendly atmosphere and affordable prices made it a worthwhile choice.

One downside was that the room lacked a window, so it was a bit stuffy and I couldn't get fresh air easily. Also, the bathroom could have been cleaner.

Cheapest place ever! The owner is a super friendly and helpful guy who made me feel so welcome. The beds are massive and incredibly comfortable, and each one has its own fan.
